  • Tunnel T-4, the longest rail tunnel in Odisha, was successfully completed on April 16, 2025, between Adenigarh and Charichhak stations in Boudh district.
  • The tunnel spans 4.185 km and was constructed using the New Austrian Tunnelling Method (NATM) through challenging clay-pebble strata.
  • The Khurda RoadBalangir rail line has 226 km operational, with the remaining 75 km central segment, including seven tunnels, still under construction.
