Indian Navy Training Squadron Wraps Four-Day Seychelles Port Call, Departs Port Victoria

  • Maj Gen Rosette credited the Indian Navy with strengthening regional maritime cooperation and reaffirmed Seychelles’ commitment to closer bilateral ties.
  • Indian trainees toured the Seychelles Coast Guard Base and Maritime Training & Support Centre, while SDF personnel received small-arms and firefighting instruction aboard the Indian ships.
  • Engagements included yoga sessions, a naval band performance at the Victoria Clock Tower, a friendly football match, support to an elderly home in Point Larue, and professional interaction with Spanish Navy ship ESPS Navarra.
