- The Indian Navy announced on Thursday that it will host Operation Southern Readiness 26-2 at Southern Naval Command in Kochi from July 20 to 23.
- The four-day programme is organised with the Combined Maritime Forces under Combined Task Force 154, the CMF unit dedicated to training and capacity building.
- Participants from CMF partner nations will receive classroom instruction, simulator training and practical shipboard drills covering maritime law, domain awareness, counter-narcotics, force protection and uncrewed systems.
