  • On July 24, the Eastern Fleet ships Delhi, Shakti and Kiltan arrived at Tien Sa Port in Da Nang as part of India’s MAHASAGAR deployment.
  • Rear Admiral Susheel Menon led the task group during a ceremonial welcome by the Vietnam People’s Navy and local authorities.
  • The visit includes scheduled bilateral meetings with Vietnam’s Military Region 5, People’s Army and Naval Region 3 to discuss maritime cooperation.
  • Personnel from both navies will engage in operational planning discussions and onboard briefings aimed at enhancing interoperability.
  • Community outreach activities will feature guided ship tours, sports fixtures and cultural events designed to strengthen people-to-people ties.
