The three-day meeting will scrutinize lessons from Operation Sindoor to align naval modernization with joint readiness goals.

Overview

  • Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Cabinet Secretary T.V. Somanathan, CDS General Anil Chauhan and Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh will address the commanders.
  • Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi and the Commanders-in-Chief will assess the security situation in the Indian Ocean Region and operational preparedness on the Western and Eastern seaboards.
  • Key priorities include strengthening joint planning and interoperability with the Army, Air Force and Coast Guard to deter emerging threats across the IOR and Indo-Pacific.
  • Deliberations will emphasize adopting AI, Big Data and machine learning, improving operational logistics and digitisation, and advancing indigenisation under Make in India and the MAHASAGAR vision.
