Indian Navy and EU Naval Force Launch Joint Exercises in Indian Ocean

The drills follow port engagements in Mumbai after talks between Narendra Modi and Ursula von der Leyen in March.

Overview

  • The sea phase of the joint exercise began on June 1 with ESPS Reina Sofia and ITS Antonio Marceglia operating alongside Indian Navy ships and aircraft.
