Indian MP Prajwal Revanna Arrested on Return from Germany Over Sexual Abuse Allegations

The Janata Dal (Secular) leader was taken into custody by an all-women police team at Bengaluru airport, facing multiple charges of sexual assault.

Revanna fled to Germany in April after videos allegedly showing him assaulting women surfaced.
He returned to India following pressure from his influential political family, including former PM HD Deve Gowda.
A special court had denied his anticipatory bail request, leading to his arrest.
The BJP has distanced itself from Revanna, despite their alliance with JD(S) in Karnataka.
Revanna and his father, also accused of abuse, claim the charges are politically motivated.
