  • Banks across India are also closed today, with 15 additional closures scheduled in October for various regional festivals.
  • Despite the closure of physical bank branches, online banking services such as ATMs, UPI, internet banking, NEFT, and RTGS remain operational.
  • The stock markets will resume operations on October 3, following a day of closure for the national holiday.
