Taste Atlas highlights India's diverse flavors, iconic dishes, and traditional restaurants in its annual rankings of the world's top cuisines.

Indian cuisine secured the 12th spot on Taste Atlas's 2024 list of the world's 100 best cuisines, surpassing the U.S. and South Korea.
The rankings were based on over 477,000 ratings for nearly 15,500 foods in the Taste Atlas database, with Greece earning the top spot.
Highlighted Indian dishes include Amritsari Kulcha, Butter Garlic Naan, Hyderabadi Biryani, and Murgh Makhani, all receiving high ratings.
Garam Masala, a popular Indian spice blend, was also recognized as a must-try, contributing to India's overall ranking.
Iconic Indian restaurants like Dum Pukht in New Delhi and Glenary's in Darjeeling were featured as key destinations to experience the country's culinary diversity.
