Overview

  • Adamya is the first of eight fast patrol vessels under the Coast Guard’s 8 FPV Project, designed and built by Goa Shipyard Ltd.
  • Adamya features controllable pitch propellers and indigenously developed gearboxes for improved maneuverability and operational flexibility.
  • It carries a 30mm CRN-91 main gun, two 12.7mm stabilized remote-control guns and an integrated bridge system for precise mission execution.
  • An integrated platform management system and automated power management system streamline onboard operations and maintenance.
  • The vessel will bolster the Coast Guard’s capacity for maritime law enforcement, coastal surveillance and search and rescue in India’s Exclusive Economic Zone.
