Overview
- Conducted on October 28–29 in forward desert areas under Southern Command, the exercise assessed readiness for next-generation conflict.
- The drill integrated aerial and ground assets with fused multi-domain command-and-control in a realistic electronic-warfare, contested environment.
- Troops developed and validated doctrinal approaches for drone threats and counter-drone responses while trialing indigenous technologies.
- Southern Command is concurrently running Exercise Trishul with the Navy and Air Force, featuring amphibious operations off the Saurashtra coast, creek and desert manoeuvres, and joint ISR, EW and cyber activities.
