Overview

  • The Passing Out Parades at Secunderabad’s 1 EME Centre and AOC Centre formalized the entry of over 2,000 Agniveers into the Indian Army under Batch-05/24
  • Major General Rakesh Manocha and Brigadier Prashant Bajpai reviewed the ceremonies and urged the recruits to uphold the core values of 'Duty, Honour, and Courage'
  • The batch underwent drill, field craft, physical endurance and weapons handling exercises to prepare for logistics and battlefield support duties
  • Recruit Manish Kumar received the GOC-in-C Southern Command rolling trophy as best recruit while Agniveer Vishnu Soni was honoured as best in drill and parade commander
  • A total of 1,024 Agniveers completed specialized technical readiness training at the 1 EME Centre before joining the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers
