Indian Army Inaugurates ‘PVC Abode’ Museum in Sekhon’s Srinagar Quarters

The museum preserves Sekhon’s original room at Badami Bagh Cantonment as a tribute to his Param Vir Chakra–winning service in 1971.

On the 80th birth anniversary of Flying Officer Nirmaljit Singh Sekhon, the Indian Army paid tribute to the only Indian Air Force officer to be awarded the Param Vir Chakra (PVC), by dedicating a museum in his memory at Badami Bagh Cantonment in Srinagar. (File)
