Indian Army Concludes Ram Prahar in Haridwar With Deterrent Warning
Western Command says the month-long manoeuvre validated AI-enabled, networked warfare concepts to signal readiness to punish any misadventure.
Overview
- The Ram Division under Western Command conducted the integrated exercise in the Haridwar region, with Lt Gen MK Katiyar reviewing the culmination on November 22.
- Armoured, infantry, engineer and aviation elements executed coordinated manoeuvres supported by ISR integration, AI-enabled decision tools and networked command-and-control.
- Training scenarios included river crossings, forest and mountain penetration, precision strikes and night operations, with activity near Jhilmil Lake and in Dudhala Dayalwala.
- Lt Gen Katiyar warned that any enemy “misadventure” would draw a response “even more severe than Operation Sindoor,” casting the drill as a clear deterrent signal.
- Officials positioned the exercise as part of a modernization drive to improve multi-domain agility and real-time decision-making across land, air and cyber.
