• The Indian Army's Field Hospital team returned to Hindon Air Force Base after completing disaster relief efforts in Mandalay, Myanmar, under Operation Brahma.
• The 123-member contingent, which included trauma specialists and surgeons, performed 65 major surgeries and treated over 2,500 patients in challenging field conditions.
• A twin parallel operation theatre was established, enabling simultaneous surgeries on two critical patients—a first in such field conditions.
• The team left behind essential medicines and built trust with local hospitals, which began referring patients for advanced care to the Indian medical team.
• Operation Brahma also included distributing 15 tonnes of food supplies and other aid to local communities and the Indian diaspora in Myanmar.
