India Wraps Up Trishul With Desert Finale, Validating Tri-Service, Multi-Domain Readiness

  • Southern Command concluded Exercise Maru Jwala in the Thar Desert, described as the final phase of the Trishul series.
  • Over 30,000 personnel, 20–25 naval assets and more than 40 aircraft participated across Rajasthan, Gujarat and the North Arabian Sea from November 3 to 7.
  • The drills validated multi-domain operations covering electronic warfare, cyber, ISR, drones and counter‑drone systems with coordinated joint fires.
  • The Indian Coast Guard, BSF and civil agencies took part to rehearse inter-agency coordination, including during the Brahmashira phase in the Rann and Creek sector.
