• Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said any Pakistani misadventure in the Sir Creek sector would draw a decisive reply strong enough to change “history and geography.”
• Singh accused Pakistan of expanding military infrastructure near the disputed creek, describing the build-up as revealing hostile intent.
• India asserted that Operation Sindoor achieved all its objectives and was aimed at countering terrorism rather than escalating into a wider war.
• Singh said Pakistan tried to penetrate Indian defences from Leh to Sir Creek during the May exchanges, and claimed Indian action exposed weaknesses in Pakistan’s air-defence system.
• He inaugurated a Tidal Independent Berthing Facility and a Joint Control Centre in the creek sector to strengthen integrated coastal operations, security coordination and rapid response.
