- AIFF said Asheer Akhtar, Jithin MS, Manvir Singh (jr), Mohammed Aimen and Vibin Mohanan have been released from the Bengaluru camp.
- Sunil Chhetri joined with Bengaluru FC teammates Rahul Bheke and Roshan Singh Naorem on September 29, taking reported players to 28 with only a few days of training before departure for the October 9 away game in Singapore.
- The camp opened on September 20 with 18 players because seven from Bengaluru FC, three from East Bengal and four from Punjab FC were held back, with clubs not required to release players before the October 6–14 FIFA window.
