- A BCCI source says Ajit Agarkar’s selection committee will convene online on January 3 to pick a 15-member ODI squad, with the team set to assemble in Vadodara on January 7.
- India host New Zealand for three ODIs on January 11 (Vadodara), January 14 (Rajkot) and January 18 (Indore), followed by five T20Is from January 21–31 in Nagpur, Raipur, Guwahati, Visakhapatnam and Thiruvananthapuram.
