Overview
- The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue will take place on January 11-12, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi, coinciding with National Youth Day on Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary.
- Around 2,000 youth from across India, selected from villages, districts, and states, will participate in the event to present ideas and engage with national and international experts.
- The initiative is designed to connect 100,000 youth with no political family background to politics through various campaigns across the country.
- PM Modi highlighted the increasing participation of youth in the National Cadet Corps (NCC), which now includes 40% female cadets, up from 25% a decade ago.
- The Prime Minister also praised youth-led efforts to assist the elderly with digital tools, including life certificates and awareness campaigns on cybercrime prevention.
