India to Host Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue in January 2025

The event, announced by PM Modi, aims to connect youth without political backgrounds to politics and celebrate Swami Vivekananda's legacy.

The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue will take place on January 11-12, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi, coinciding with National Youth Day on Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary.
Around 2,000 youth from across India, selected from villages, districts, and states, will participate in the event to present ideas and engage with national and international experts.
The initiative is designed to connect 100,000 youth with no political family background to politics through various campaigns across the country.
PM Modi highlighted the increasing participation of youth in the National Cadet Corps (NCC), which now includes 40% female cadets, up from 25% a decade ago.
The Prime Minister also praised youth-led efforts to assist the elderly with digital tools, including life certificates and awareness campaigns on cybercrime prevention.
