Overview
- At least 12 people were killed when a car exploded near the Red Fort metro station on November 10, destroying multiple vehicles and injuring many others.
- The Ministry of Home Affairs has handed the investigation to the National Investigation Agency, with follow-up operations under way including an ATS–J&K Police raid in Lucknow linked to a Faridabad module.
- BCAS has mandated a three-day high-security regime from November 10–12, including 100% Secondary Ladder Point Checking, enhanced CCTV coverage, vehicle naka checks at terminals, and tougher cargo scrutiny.
