- External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar told the maritime security session that India acts as a first responder under its MAHASAGAR outlook and that UNCLOS must be upheld.
- He urged coordination to protect undersea and other critical maritime infrastructure and deeper collaboration against piracy, smuggling and illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing.
