Overview
- The campaign runs from July 1 to September 30 and targets pending cases in courts nationwide, from taluka benches to high courts.
- Case identification and referral to mediators will occur between July 1 and July 30, with total settlement figures due by October 6.
- Eligible matters span matrimonial disputes, accident claims, domestic violence, cheque bounce, commercial and service issues, criminal compoundable cases, consumer and debt recovery disputes, property partition, eviction and land acquisition.
- State High Courts’ Mediation Monitoring Committees will track progress while taluka and district legal services authorities facilitate online mediation within their jurisdictions.
- All trained mediators—including those completing 40-hour certification—will conduct settlement efforts seven days a week based on the parties’ convenience.
