India Sets February 2026 Fleet Review and ‘Milan’ Drills in Visakhapatnam With US and Russia Confirmed

- The Navy scheduled the International Fleet Review for February 18 in Visakhapatnam, to be held alongside the Milan 2026 exercise and the Indian Ocean Naval Symposium.
- Vice Admiral Sanjay Vatsayan said the United States and Russia have confirmed participation and will send ships.
- Responses have come from more than 55 countries indicating willingness to attend, with final numbers expected to evolve before February.
- President Droupadi Murmu will review the fleet, and the indigenous carrier INS Vikrant and Kalvari-class submarines will feature in an International Fleet Review for the first time.
- Milan will run a harbour phase on February 19–20 followed by a complex sea phase from February 21–25 in the Bay of Bengal that includes anti-submarine, air and sea operations.
