India Selects Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla for Historic Indo-US ISS Mission

Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla is the youngest astronaut chosen by ISRO for the Indo-US mission to the ISS.
Shukla has extensive experience as a fighter pilot with 2,000 flight hours and expertise in various aircraft.
The mission is part of a collaboration between ISRO and NASA, facilitated by Axiom Space Inc.
Group Captain Prasanth Balakrishnan Nair is the backup astronaut for this mission.
The astronauts will conduct scientific research and technology demonstrations on the ISS.
