India Selects Four Spinners, Excludes Shami for First Two Tests Against England

Uncapped wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel joins the 16-strong squad as India aims to maintain its unbeaten home Test series record since 2012.

India's cricket team has selected four spinners, Axar Patel, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav, for the first two Tests against England.
Seamer Mohammed Shami is not included in the squad due to an ankle injury.
Uncapped wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel is in the 16-strong squad, along with KL Rahul and KS Bharat.
India has not lost a home Test series since England's victory in 2012.
The first of five Tests begins on 25 January in Hyderabad.
