Overview

  • The PM-Kisan scheme has disbursed 19 installments of Rs 2,000 each since its 2019 launch, providing Rs 6,000 annually to small and marginal farmers.
  • The 20th installment is expected for release in June 2025, following the February disbursement that reached more than 9.8 crore farmers.
  • Farmers must complete e-KYC through the official portal or at Common Service Centres to remain eligible for the upcoming disbursal.
  • Eligibility requires Indian citizenship, ownership of cultivable land, exclusion of pensioners receiving Rs 10,000 or more per month, and non-filing of income tax.
  • Beneficiaries can verify their status or register new accounts on the PM-Kisan website by using the “Know Your Status” and “New Farmer Registration” features.
