  • MSP for over 16 Kharif crops has climbed by more than 80 percent since 2013-14, with paddy rates set at ₹2,369 per quintal for 2025-26.
  • The agriculture ministry’s budget surged from ₹27,663 crore in 2013-14 to ₹1,37,664.35 crore in 2024-25, marking nearly a fivefold increase.
  • Foodgrain production expanded from 265.05 million tonnes in 2014-15 to an estimated 347.44 million tonnes in 2024-25.
  • Under PM-KISAN, the government has disbursed over ₹3.7 lakh crore to more than 110 million farmers, while the Kisan Credit Card scheme has extended about ₹10 lakh crore in affordable credit to 77.1 million farmers.
  • Modi pledged to intensify welfare schemes and expand modern irrigation, digital marketplaces and agri-tech support alongside traditional practices to sustain rural prosperity.
