Overview

• An Indian technical team is in New York to engage with the UN's 1267 Sanctions Committee, UNOCT, and CTED to push for The Resistance Front (TRF) to be designated as a global terrorist entity.
• TRF, which claimed responsibility for the April 22 Pahalgam attack, is identified as a front for the UN-proscribed Lashkar-e-Taiba, a Pakistan-based terror group.
