Overview
- Applications are being accepted online at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in through February 14, with fee payment open until February 16, a correction window on February 18–19, and the first merit list due February 28.
- The drive spans 23 postal circles for Branch Postmaster, Assistant Branch Postmaster, and Dak Sevak roles, with the largest openings in West Bengal, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and Kerala.
- Eligible applicants are 18–40 years old with a Class 10 pass including Mathematics and English, study of the local language to Class 10, basic computer knowledge, and cycling skills.
- The application fee is Rs 100, while female candidates, SC/ST applicants, PwD candidates, and transwomen are exempt, and payments can be made via credit/debit cards, net banking, or UPI.
- Selected candidates will be paid under TRCA rules, ranging from Rs 10,000–24,470 for ABPM/Dak Sevak and Rs 12,000–29,380 for BPM, with annual increments of 3%.
