India Passenger-Vehicle Sales Hit Record in 2025 After Late-Year Rebound

  • Passenger-vehicle wholesales reached about 4.55 million in 2025, up nearly 6% year on year after a strong October–December surge.
  • Maruti Suzuki set a new company record with 2,351,139 sales for the year, including record exports of 395,648, and capped December at 217,854 units with domestic sales at an all-time high.
