India Orchestrates Global Viksit Bharat Run Across 100+ Countries During Seva Pakhwada

- India’s Youth Affairs and Sports Ministry, in partnership with the External Affairs Ministry, held the first global edition of the Viksit Bharat Run on Sunday across more than 100 countries.
- Community runs of 3–5 km drew Indian diaspora members, local residents, students, professionals and friends of India at prominent venues worldwide.
- Participants took the Viksit Bharat and Aatmanirbhar Bharat pledges and joined the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ tree-planting effort linking service with sustainability.
- Indian missions coordinated events with community groups and local authorities in cities including Harrow in the UK, Georgetown in Guyana, Port Louis in Mauritius and Atlanta in the United States.
- The initiative connected attendees to the MY Bharat portal to convert event participation into ongoing volunteering and youth programs.
