India Observes Mahaparinirvan Diwas Honoring Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's Legacy

Mumbai Police have implemented extensive traffic restrictions and security measures around Dadar's Chaityabhoomi to manage the large influx of devotees from December 5 to December 7.
The Maharashtra government has declared December 6 a local holiday for Mumbai and suburban areas, closing government offices and schools but keeping banks and stock exchanges operational.
Central Railway is running 14 additional long-distance trains and 12 suburban trains to accommodate the expected crowds, with enhanced crowd management measures in place at major stations.
