• Ayush Minister Prataprao Jadhav said discussions are underway with NCERT and the UGC to draft modules that introduce Ayurveda and holistic health in school and higher education.
• The announcement, carried in interviews published Sept. 28–29, positions curriculum work as a national effort rather than a finalized policy.
• Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh have already adopted elements of the Indian knowledge system in school education, according to the minister.
• Evidence-building continues through clinical trials led by the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences and partner institutions.
• The ministry is pursuing an integrated care model through the National AYUSH Mission and AYUSH Grid, including deploying AYUSH doctors to Health and Wellness Centres, particularly in rural and remote areas.
