Overview
- The 9th IMC will run from October 8–11 at New Delhi’s Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, expecting over 1.5 lakh visitors, 7,000 global delegates and 400 exhibitors from more than 150 countries.
- Organisers have chosen ‘Innovate to Transform’ to highlight emerging technologies such as 5G, 6G, AI, IoT, electronics manufacturing and green tech through over 100 sessions and 1,000 real-world use cases.
- The Department of Telecommunications launched the Sanchar Mitra Scheme to mobilise youth as digital ambassadors and promote engagement with telecom innovations.
- Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Telecom Excellence Awards 2024 were announced to recognise outstanding contributions in telecom innovation, skilling, services and manufacturing.
- The expanded ASPIRE programme will feature over 500 startups and connect them with more than 300 investors, incubators and venture capital firms for mentorship and pitching opportunities.
