India Maps Seven ISRO Missions by March 2026, Including First Uncrewed Gaganyaan

  • The government said the first uncrewed Gaganyaan test will fly before March 2026 with humanoid Vyomamitra, with a three-astronaut mission targeted for 2027.
  • PSLV-C62 is planned for the last week of December 2025 to deploy Earth observation satellite EOS-N1 with 18 co-passenger payloads.
  • ISRO will conduct a dedicated commercial launch for AST SpaceMobile’s BlueBird Block-2 under an NSIL agreement.
  • A Technology Demonstration Satellite (TDS-01) will trial high-thrust electric propulsion, an indigenous travelling-wave tube amplifier and quantum key distribution, alongside an Earth-observation mission for strategic users.
  • NSIL is realising five PSLV-XLs through HAL and L&T with the first industry-manufactured rocket expected in early 2026, plus missions featuring Oceansat-3A with the Indo-Mauritius joint satellite and a dedicated SSLV commercial flight.
