Overview

• The revamped Multi Agency Centre (MAC) connects all intelligence, security, and law enforcement agencies across India, extending coverage to district levels, remote areas, and high-altitude terrains.
• Equipped with AI/ML and GIS technologies, the MAC enables advanced data analytics, predictive threat mapping, and real-time intelligence sharing to address terrorism, extremism, cyberattacks, and organized crime.
• The ₹500 crore upgrade marks a significant transformation of the MAC, originally established in 2001 after the Kargil conflict and strengthened post-26/11 Mumbai attacks.
