- Households will receive free electricity up to 300 units per month, with additional power sold back to the grid through net metering.
- The scheme includes subsidies for systems up to 3 kW, with a 60% subsidy for 2 kW systems and a 40% subsidy for systems between 2 and 3 kW.
- An estimated 17 lakh direct jobs will be created in various sectors, including manufacturing, logistics, and maintenance.
- A Model Solar Village will be developed in each district to promote the adoption of rooftop solar in rural areas.
