India Launches Bharatpol Portal for Seamless Interpol Collaboration

The new platform, developed by the CBI, enables real-time international assistance for Indian law enforcement agencies tackling transnational crimes.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the Bharatpol portal, designed to streamline collaboration between Indian agencies and Interpol.
The portal allows state and central law enforcement agencies to share and access real-time information for faster international criminal investigations.
Developed by the CBI, Bharatpol aims to address challenges posed by transnational crimes like cybercrime, drug trafficking, and human trafficking.
Bharatpol will replace traditional communication methods like letters and emails, expediting processes such as issuing Interpol Red Notices.
The initiative is part of the Indian government's broader efforts to modernize law enforcement and enhance global cooperation in combating organized crime.
