India Launches ₹4,531-Crore Market Access Support for Exporters

The roll-out shifts export promotion to a planned, digital, MSME-focused model via trade.gov.in.

Overview

  • Market Access Support under the Export Promotion Mission’s NIRYAT DISHA will provide ₹4,531 crore over 2025–31, including ₹500 crore in FY2025–26.
  • Funding covers buyer–seller meets, participation in international fairs and exhibitions, Mega Reverse BSMs in India, and trade delegations to priority and emerging markets.
  • A three-to-five-year calendar of approved events will be prepared to enable advance planning and continuity for exporters and organisers.
  • Each supported event must include at least 35% MSMEs, with delegations benchmarked at a minimum of 50 participants and prioritisation for new geographies and smaller markets.
  • Exporters with up to ₹75 lakh in prior-year exports will be eligible for partial airfare support, with applications, approvals, fund release and mandatory feedback handled on trade.gov.in.
