- The consulate occupies the first and 11th floors at 1015 2nd Avenue’s Federal Reserve Building, with public services on the ground floor and administrative and commercial offices above in a site listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
- Announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in June 2023, the Seattle post is India’s sixth U.S. consulate, following temporary operations that began in November 2023.
- Since launching full services in July 2024, the mission reports assisting 23,722 applicants across Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Nebraska.
