Overview
- The School Health and Wellness Programme will reach all 30,000 CBSE-affiliated schools and nearly 15 million adolescent students nationwide.
- The recent New Delhi workshop, held in June and July 2025, trained over 290 principals and educators from 22 states and five union territories.
- Since August 2022, NCERT’s series of five-day workshops has produced 970 master trainers who have supported more than 40,000 teachers through 754 capacity-building sessions.
- Developed under NCERT’s leadership with UNESCO’s support, the curriculum covers 11 core themes—ranging from mental health to safe internet practices—and is available in English, Hindi and nine regional languages, supplemented by videos and a comic book.
