Overview
- DGFT notified on September 30 that the RoDTEP scheme will remain in force through March 31, 2026.
- The extension covers eligible exports from Domestic Tariff Area units as well as AA, SEZ and EOU entities.
- Refund rates of 0.3% to 3.9% continue unchanged, reimbursing embedded central, state and local levies not offset elsewhere.
- The programme will operate within this year’s budget allocation of Rs 20,381 crore, as specified in the notification.
- Exporter body FIEO welcomed the decision as removing uncertainty, with the move seen as support as higher U.S. tariffs have pressured shipments.
