Overview
- India’s Ministry of External Affairs announced a Nov. 4–10 visit covering Ecuador, Bolivia and Cuba to review progress on trade, technology, tourism, development cooperation and capacity building.
- In Ecuador, the minister will review preparations to establish a resident Indian mission in Quito.
- In Bolivia, he will represent the Government of India at the presidential inauguration on Nov. 8 in La Paz.
- In Cuba, discussions will focus on strengthening ties in health and medicine, digital public infrastructure and capacity building.
- The schedule includes meetings with political leaders, business representatives and the Indian community, with the MEA highlighting South–South cooperation and scope to expand trade and investment in minerals, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals and IT.
