Overview
- Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh said the celebrations will mark 150 years of Vande Mataram, which will guide the parade and Beating the Retreat.
- The Indian Army will stage a phased battle array with live commentary, while an aerial battle array will explain the integration of reconnaissance, logistics, long-range weapons and air power.
- The flypast will include Rafale, Su-30, MiG-29, Apache, LCH, ALH, Mi-17, P-8I, C-130 and C-295 aircraft in multiple formations.
- New showcases will feature the Bhairav Battalion, Shaktibaan regiments, Drone Shakti and a universal rocket launcher, and a European naval contingent will participate for the first time.
- The parade will include 18 marching contingents, 13 bands and 30 tableaux, with tickets starting at ₹20 and QR-based entry supported by the Rashtraparv portal and app.
