Overview
- India opens 2026 by hosting New Zealand for three ODIs on January 11, 14 and 18 (Vadodara, Rajkot, Indore) followed by five T20Is from January 21–31 (Nagpur, Raipur, Guwahati, Visakhapatnam, Thiruvananthapuram).
- The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup runs February 7–March 8 with India and Sri Lanka as co-hosts, with India’s group games reported against the USA, Namibia, Pakistan and the Netherlands at venues in Mumbai, Delhi, Colombo and Ahmedabad.
- The domestic windows are set with the WPL scheduled for January 9–February 5 and the IPL slated for March 26–May 31.
- Afghanistan are due in India in June for one Test and three ODIs, with exact dates and venues to be announced.
- India tours England in July for five T20Is (July 1–11) and three ODIs (July 14, 16, 19) at Chester-le-Street, Manchester, Nottingham, Bristol, Southampton, Birmingham, Cardiff and Lord’s, while later assignments — including August Tests in Sri Lanka, a late-year New Zealand tour and the Sept. 19–Oct. 4 Asian Games — await fuller itineraries.
