Overview
- The 15-day campaign launched on May 29 ended on June 12 with a concluding Kisan Sammelan in Bardoli where the agriculture minister pledged ongoing dialogue with farmers
- More than 1.12 crore farmers across over 1 lakh villages took part in region-specific workshops and field demonstrations led by 2,170 teams of 16,000 scientists
- The drive promoted climate-resilient techniques, natural farming inputs and digital tools like drones alongside special programs such as Krishi Rath visits and community seed exchanges
- State closures highlighted local achievements: Sikkim reached 31,000 farmers in hill regions, Nagaland held a livestock development session and Assam teams engaged about 800 farmers daily
- Authorities will review farmer feedback to shape future policies and expand natural farming to 7.5 lakh hectares with 18 lakh participants already onboard
