- The Labour Ministry signed MoUs with Mentor Together and Quikr to bolster job access and youth mentoring through the NCS platform.
- Under the pacts, Mentor Together targets outreach to two lakh youth in the first year, split between NCS users and PM-VBRY entrants, using a network of over 24,000 trained mentors.
- Quikr will feed 1,200-plus daily job listings from more than 1,200 cities into NCS, with officials highlighting expanded access for rural and underserved regions.
- NCS reports 52 lakh registered employers, 5.79 crore job seekers, 7.22 crore total vacancies mobilised and over 44 lakh active listings, while prior MoUs with firms including Amazon and Swiggy have mobilised nearly five lakh vacancies.
