- Maruti Suzuki said on October 23 that the Jimny 5-door has surpassed 1,00,000 cumulative exports, two years after exports began in 2023.
- The compact 4x4 is manufactured exclusively in India and ships to more than 100 countries, including Japan, Mexico, Australia, South Africa and Chile.
- In Japan, where it launched in January 2025 as the Jimny Nomade, the model drew over 50,000 orders within days.
- The Jimny 5-door is now Maruti Suzuki’s second most exported model after the Fronx, underscoring its global pull.
- Company exports reached a record 2 lakh vehicles in H1 FY2025–26, up about 40% year on year, even as Jimny’s India sales totaled 27,812 units through September with 296 in September.
