Maruti Suzuki posted a record 229,021 units for November, with domestic PV dispatches at 170,971 and exports at an all‑time high 46,057; the company cited low dealer stocks and around 150,000 pending bookings. Hyundai recorded 66,840 total units (9.1% YoY), including 50,340 domestic and 16,500 exports, as the new Venue crossed 32,000 bookings within a month. Broader strength extended beyond PVs, with Bajaj Auto wholesales up 8% to 453,273 on three‑wheelers and exports, Escorts Kubota tractors up 17.9% to 10,580, and Toyota reporting double‑digit growth.
